Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking an Interventional Radiology Tech for a Cath Lab in Ohio. The position is permanent, full-time, onsite with a 7:30am - 5:00pm schedule.

You will assist in invasive cardiac and interventional procedures, monitor patients, and ensure quality care under physician supervision. The role requires ARRT certification, Ohio radiographer license, BLS, and graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program; prefer advanced ARRT certifications and RCIS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current Ohio Radiographer license.
• Current ARRT (R.T.) certification.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• Advanced ARRT certification (CV, CI, or VI) and RCIS are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with invasive procedures including cardiac cath, vascular angiograms, stenting, and pacemaker implants.
• Scrub, circulate, and/or provide hemodynamic monitoring during procedures.
• Prepare and drape patients; set up sterile fields and equipment.
• Position patients and C-arm for imaging.
• Document vitals, history, medications, and labs.
• Initiate and maintain IV access and oxygen therapy per orders.
• Perform EKG monitoring and glucometer testing.
• Administer medications, including moderate sedation, under supervision.
• Monitor procedure sites and manage hemostasis and complications.
• Operate radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic images (ARRT required).
• Provide post-procedure and discharge instructions.
• Maintain sterile technique and comply with safety standards.
• Collaborate with care teams to coordinate patient care.
• Document all care accurately and timely.
