Job summary

Interventional Rad Tech – Cath Lab in Ohio is a permanent, full-time onsite role. You will assist with invasive cardiac and vascular procedures, ensure patient safety, document care, and collaborate with physicians.

The position requires ARRT, Ohio Radiographer license, and BLS. Advanced ARRT (CV/CI/VI), ACLS, or RCIS are preferred. Monday–Friday, relocation assistance available with no weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current Ohio Radiographer license.
• Current ARRT (R.T.) certification.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• Advanced ARRT certification (CV, CI, or VI) preferred.
• ACLS preferred.
• RCIS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with invasive cardiovascular procedures: cardiac cath, angiograms, stents, and pacemaker implants.
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor hemodynamics during procedures.
• Prepare and drape patients; set up sterile fields and equipment.
• Position patients and C-arm for imaging.
• Assess and document patient status (vitals, history, meds, labs).
• Initiate and maintain IV access and oxygen therapy per orders.
• Perform EKG monitoring and glucometer testing.
• Administer medications, including moderate sedation, under physician supervision.
• Monitor and manage procedure sites, including hemostasis and complications.
• Operate radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic images (ARRT required).
• Provide post-procedure and discharge instructions.
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to safety standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient care.
• Document all care accurately and in a timely manner.
