Job summary

Adventist Health Bakersfield is seeking a Cardiac and Vascular Radiologic Technologist to perform and assist in interventional radiology procedures in the cath lab. The role requires operating angiography equipment, positioning patients, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Cath Lab or interventional procedures experience preferred.
• ARRT certification preferred; RT license required.
• Ability to operate angiography equipment and adjust factors per protocol.
• Strong ability to explain procedures and provide patient instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operates diagnostic imaging equipment to produce angiographic images during cardiac catheterization.
• Assists physicians with interventional procedures and contrast injections.
• Provides patient explanations and discharge instructions.
• Monitors patient data (BP, HR, respiration) during imaging and alerts physician to changes.
• Maintains accurate documentation per program standards.
