Job summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem is seeking an Interventional Procedures Tech for Cath Lab & Interventional Radiology in Evanston, IL. This full-time position involves monitoring cardiac rhythm and hemodynamics, and supporting diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures.

The role requires ARRT and IEMA certifications, a 2-year allied health degree, BLS, and ACLS within 1 year, with cath lab experience highly preferred. On-call and varied shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• ARRT and IEMA certifications are required.
• RCIS is preferred.
• 2-year allied health degree or equivalent is required.
• BLS (AHA) CPR is required; ACLS within 1 year.
• Cath Lab experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform varied technical and clinical duties as part of the lab team for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Monitor cardiac rhythm and hemodynamics; document during routine and complex cardiology procedures.
• Provide monitoring during cardiogenic shock, acute MI, and cardiac arrest.
• Interpret EKG rhythm disorders and hemodynamic abnormalities.
• Become familiar with EKG and waveform recognition; maintain patient records and procedure logs.
• Charge and complete all required documentation for procedures.
