Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited invasive cardiovascular technologist training program or two years of allied health education with on-the-job Cath Lab experience.
• Licensure, certification, or registration as required for role.
• Ability to recognize cardiac dysrhythmias and operate hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Willingness to be on-call with 30-minute on-site response.
• Strong teamwork and sterile technique in interventional settings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as scrub assistant or monitor/recorder for cardiology and radiology studies.
• Prepare and position patients for invasive procedures.
• Monitor hemodynamic activity and record data using specialized equipment.
• Manage arterial/venous access sites and post-procedure care.
• Set up and troubleshoot intra-aortic balloon pump as needed.
