Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Fresno is seeking an Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist to perform specialized invasive cardiovascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiac cath lab. You will assist physicians, monitor patient status, and help with documentation and data entry during procedures.

The role requires knowledge of fluoroscopy, aseptic technique, and post-procedure care, with the ability to maintain equipment and support training for new staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of contrast media and anatomy relevant to invasive cardiac procedures.
• Ability to perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures with PPE.
• Demonstrated clinical judgment and patient-centered care during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures in support of cardiovascular care.
• Assists physicians in fluoroscopic examinations and analyzes procedural data.
• Monitors ECG rhythm and hemodynamics; documents findings and communicates with physicians.
• Maintains equipment, performs QC, and assists with standby coverage for emergent cases.
• Prepares and delivers imaging and data; supports training of new staff as needed.
• Adheres to aseptic technique and safety protocols throughout procedures.
