Qualifications

• RN license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required
• Ability to read, write and speak conversational English
• Cardiovascular and electrophysiology knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Verifies orders and facilitates implementation, communicating with physicians as needed.
• Performs treatments and administers medications according to policy and training.
• Follows CDC isolation guidelines and uses PPE according to standards of care.
• Learns and upgrades skills; assists with orientation, training, and education of new personnel.
• Documents and monitors activities; participates in quality and performance improvement.
• Assesses patient condition and develops individualized care plans; sets short- and long-term goals.
• Completes timely assessments including physiological, psychological, developmental and sociocultural factors.
