Job summary

Inova Health System is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist 2 (IR Tech) in Falls Church, VA. The role is PRN with no call, supporting the Interventional Radiology team at Inova Fairfax Medical Center.

The position requires BLS/ACLS at start and specific registries or nursing licensure per Virginia requirements, plus 1 year of related Interventional Radiology or critical care experience. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Assoc. Degree in Nursing required or equivalent.
• Graduate of accredited Cardiovascular Technology or Radiology Technology program with education and experience.
• Certification: BLS, ACLS; RN or equivalent licensure per Virginia requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, holistic patient care within Interventional Radiology.
• Performs psychosocial/physiologic assessments and documents findings.
• Tailors care for cultural/ethical/spiritual needs and plans routine transitional care.
• Ensures efficient delivery of care and prioritizes immediate needs.
• Maintains required certifications and licensure upon start and throughout employment.
