Job summary

Loyal Source Government Services is seeking a Cardiology Physician to provide on-site diagnostic and invasive treatment services for veterans at the VA Medical Center in San Francisco, CA. The role involves collaborating within a multidisciplinary cardiology team and delivering high-level interventional care.

Candidates should hold active medical licensure, be board-certified in Emergency or Internal Medicine with cardiovascular and interventional cardiology credentials or eligibility, and

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certificates required by the American Heart Association.
• Active, current license as a professional nurse in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Training and demonstrated competence in airway management, moderate sedation, and fluoroscopy.
• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine or Internal Medicine, with Cardiovascular Disease certification and Interventional Cardiology certification or eligibility.
• DEA Registration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of cardiology and vascular specialists.
• Provide consultative services for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Perform or assist with procedures such as pericardiocentesis and endocardial biopsies.
• Manage patient care before, during, and after percutaneous revascularization procedures.
• Provide discharge education and coordinate follow-up instructions.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement activities as required by leadership.
