Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support in the Washington, DC area. The physician will work in an outpatient clinic setting, Monday through Friday, with 8-hour clinic days from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and a call schedule.

Required credentials include ACLS, ATLS, and BLS from the American Heart Association, plus a DEA license and active Washington license or IMLC; Epic is used for the EMR.

Qualifications

• ACLS/ATLS/BLS certifications required.
• Experience in general cardiology with preference for interventional cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: Monday–Friday outpatient clinic; 8-hour clinic days from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with call coverage.

This facility is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.Details and requirements for this opportunity:Schedule: Monday-Friday outpatient clinic; provider works 8-hour clinic days within clinic hours of 7:00 AM-5:00 PM and a call schedule.Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic with call coverage.Type of Cases and Required Procedures: General Cardiology with preference for Interventional Cardiology experience.Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days.Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic.Certifications Required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) though American Heart Association, Drug Enforcement Administration License (DEA)Licensure Required: Active Washington license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
