Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens coverage in Omaha, NE. The candidate should be Board Certified in cardiology with PCI and catheterization expertise, and hold Nebraska or Iowa licenses or IMLC qualification.

The role supports both inpatient and outpatient services with on-site schedule from Oct 2026 through Dec 2026. Schedule is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with night call as needed; Epic EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in cardiology with Interventional cardiology expertise.
• Experience with PCI, catheterization and acute MI care preferred.
• Active Nebraska and Iowa licenses or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional cardiology procedures and catheterizations.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care in a hospital setting.
• Collaborate with hospital teams and on-call duties as required.

This facility is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & Requirements

• Schedule: October through December 2026, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM onsite, night call 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM as needed.
• Practice Setting: Inpatient and outpatient hospital.
• Types of Cases: Interventional cardiology, cardiac catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention, elevation myocardial infarction, angioplasty, stenting, Impella, pericardiocentesis, temporary pacemaker placement, right heart catheterization.
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days after completed application.
• Electronic Medical Record: Epic.
• Certifications Required: Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Board Certification, Drug Enforcement Administration registration.
• Licensure Required: Active Nebraska and Iowa licenses or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Letter of Qualification.
