Job summary

Banner University Medical Center - Tucson, part of Banner Health, is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our Cardiology Division. The role provides care for inpatient and outpatient services, partnering with an Interventional Cardiovascular team to support cardiovascular patients in a fast-paced setting.

The position offers a 50% inpatient and 50% outpatient split, with schedule Monday through Friday day coverage and rotating weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• NP Board Certification.
• New NP grads encouraged to apply with Cardiology or Cardiac Surgery experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work closely with physicians and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care.
• Detail-oriented; dedicated to providing excellent care in challenging situations.
• Current Arizona Medical License.
• Current BLS, and ACLS.
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substance.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for inpatient and outpatient services.
• Work with Interventional Cardiovascular team and care for cardiovascular patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff and case managers in a fast-paced environment.
• Rounding with CCU and ICU teams; support 50% inpatient and 50% outpatient services.
