Job summary

Banner Health in Tucson seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner for its Electrophysiology Clinic. You will join the Cardiovascular Institute team, managing EP patients, performing cardioversions, interpreting tests, prescribing medications, educating patients, and contributing to research.

Requirements include NP board certification, Arizona license, and current CPR/BLS/ACLS; DEA license for controls is required. Outpatient EP experience is a plus in this busy academic–clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner with experience in Critical Care, Cardiology or Electrophysiology (or RN critical care with specialty experience)
• Outpatient ambulatory care experience preferred
• Active NP board certification and AZ license required
• CPR, BLS and ACLS certifications current
• DEA license for controlled substances required

Responsibilities

• Clinical management of electrophysiology patients
• Performance of cardioversions and diagnostic test interpretation
• Medication prescriptions, patient education, and consults
• Participation in research and teamwork with physicians and clinicians
