Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Interventional Cardiology team at Columbia Medical Center. This full-time role involves evaluating patients, coordinating care across inpatient and outpatient settings, and delivering evidence-based treatment in collaboration with cardiologists and surgeons.

Qualifications

• Advanced Practice Provider: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
• Board certified and licensed (or eligible) in South Carolina.
• Experience in cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, or critical care preferred.
• Experience with structural heart or interventional cardiology strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care to interventional cardiology patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Evaluate and manage new and established patients using history, exam, labs, imaging, and results.
• Coordinate referrals, consultations, follow-up care, and transitions across the patient journey.
• Collaborate with attending or collaborating physician and cardiovascular team.
• Document and bill for care per standards.
• Support quality improvement and regulatory activities.
• Precept APP students and help onboard new team members.
