Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Cardiology team at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. You will collaborate with a team of interventional cardiologists to manage inpatient rounds, pre-procedure evaluations for cardiac catheterization, and outpatient clinic duties.

Expect a balanced schedule with exposure to complex cardiovascular cases and advanced therapies.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited NP or PA program.
• Colorado license/certification as NP or PA, or able to obtain.
• DEA and prescriptive authority.
• BLS and ACLS.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent cardiology NP/PA experience.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient rounding on interventional cardiology patients.
• Pre-procedure evaluations for cardiac catheterization.
• Workups for catheterization cases.
• Transition to outpatient clinic responsibilities after inpatient rounding.
• Manage a broad spectrum of cardiovascular conditions.
