An established industry player is seeking a BE/BC interventional cardiologist to join their growing cardiology practice in the beautiful Great Lakes region. Medical Center seeks a BE/BC interventional cardiologist to join a hospital-based cardiology practice, to meet the growing patient demand. Medical Center implemented an elective interventional cardiology program (PCI) last year in conjunction with the Johns Hopkins AtlanticC-Port clinical trial. The first year of this program saw 300 diagnostic catheterizations between 2 physicians. Medical Center’s cardiology department averages 12-13,000 EKGS per year, 2,000 nuclear studies, and 2,700 2D echocardiograms. We will be opening our second cardiac catheterization laboratory in the fall of 2011.
Ideal candidate will be joining two other physicians and have a call schedule of 1:3. This is a hospital employed position. Candidate should be well trained and ready to apply for or already possess their Pennsylvania state medical license. Clean background and excellent communication skills required.

Medical Center is a 249 bed regional medical center with a service area of 100,000 offering our community members the highest quality medical treatment and patient care. We have a medical staff of over 140 representing 37 medical and surgical specialties. With the recent completion of our surgical services facilities, Medical Center boasts 12 state-of-the-art surgical suites as well as a newly renovated 28 bed ambulatory surgery center in addition to our 16 bed inpatient surgery center. We are currently pursuing level 3 trauma certification.
