Citrus Cardiology Consultants, a partner practice of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA), seeks a full-time Interventional Cardiologist to join a physician-led team serving The Villages and Leesburg, FL. The role blends interventional procedures with general cardiology across clinics, hospitals, and an ASC.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in cardiovascular medicine and eligible for interventional cardiology.
• Completion of internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology training.
• MD or DO degree; eligible for Florida medical licensure.
• Interventional cardiology experience preferred; peripheral vascular experience a plus.
• Echocardiography and nuclear cardiology certifications preferred.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork.
• Eligibility for H-1B/J-1 sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform coronary interventional procedures including PCI and complex interventions.
• Provide general cardiology services and imaging (echo, nuclear).
• Collaborate with CT surgery teams on complex cases.
• Participate in STEMI call rotation (1:5).
• Maintain a Monday–Friday schedule.

Interventional Cardiology training

Internal Medicine training

Cardiovascular Disease training

MD or DO

Florida medical licensure eligibility

Peripheral vascular experience preferred

Echocardiography certification preferred

Nuclear Cardiology certification preferred
