Job summary

Citrus Cardiology Consultants, serving Inverness and Lecanto in Central Florida, is seeking a full‑time Interventional Cardiologist. The role blends interventional and general cardiology across clinic and hospital settings, with collaboration across CT surgery and strong support staff.

The practice is physician‑led, affiliated with CVAUSA, and offers opportunities in academics, leadership, and access to advanced imaging. Monday‑Friday schedule with call coverage and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Board certified in cardiovascular medicine.
• Board eligible or certified in interventional cardiology.
• Completed accredited training in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology.
• MD or DO degree.
• Eligible for Florida medical licensure.
• Peripheral vascular experience preferred.
• Echocardiography and nuclear cardiology certification preferred.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork.
• Eligible for H-1B/J-1 sponsorship via SE Crescent region.

Responsibilities

• Perform coronary interventional procedures including PCI and complex interventions.
• Optional peripheral vascular interventions based on training.
• Provide general cardiology services: echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, stress testing, inpatient and outpatient care.
• Collaborate with CT surgery teams for complex cases.
• Participate in STEMI and shared general cardiology call coverage.
