Job summary

West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute seek an interventional cardiologist to practice general and interventional cardiology based at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will be actively involved in the teaching of medical students, internal medicine residents and cardiology fellows.

Opportunities also exist in clinical research.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
• Board certification or eligibility in interventional cardiology.
• Experience in teaching or research is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Teach medical students, internal medicine residents and cardiology fellows.
• Provide general and interventional cardiology patient care.
• Potential involvement in clinical research and multi-site service.
