The Lt. Col. Luke Weathers, Jr., VAMC in Memphis, TN is recruiting for an Interventional Cardiologist to serve as a full-time Specialty Care physician.

The position reports to the Chief of Specialty Care and aims to deliver state-of-the-art cardiovascular care. Qualifications

• MD or equivalent in allopathic/osteopathic medicine from an LCME/COCA accredited school.
• Board certification in cardiology and interventional capability is preferred.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in any US state or territory.

Responsibilities

• Clinical practice in interventional and general cardiology.
• Supervise cardiology fellows, residents and medical students.
• Provide consultation on cardiovascular disease in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Co-direct the structural heart program and lead the CCU team.
• Deliver didactic lectures and participate in academic activities.
