The role emphasizes coronary and peripheral intervention with a large patient base and referral network; structural heart training is not required, and call is roughly 1:4–1:5.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
• Coronary interventional training required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient cardiology consultation and rounding at an affiliated hospital.
• Perform and supervise coronary and peripheral vascular interventions.
• Collaborate with hospitalists and PCPs; act as consultant.
• Manage call schedule (~1:4–1:5) and urgent interventional cases.
