Sun Recruiting, Inc. is assisting a Jacksonville, Florida private cardiology practice in recruiting a Board Certified/Eligible Interventional Cardiologist with strong peripheral vascular skills or significant interest in developing a high-volume peripheral program.

The position offers a guaranteed annual base salary of $700,000–$850,000 with productivity bonus, and extensive peripheral/coronary intervention opportunities in a private practice setting. No structural heart training is required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
• Coronary interventional training.
• Strong peripheral vascular/endovascular skills or interest in peripheral intervention.
• Eligible for Florida medical licensure.
• Structural heart training not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient cardiology consultation and rounding at a nearby hospital.
• Function as a consultative cardiology team with hospitalists and primary care physicians.
• Perform coronary and peripheral vascular interventions.
• Share after-hours calls in a 1:4–1:5 rotation; respond to urgent cases such as STEMI or acute limb ischemia.
• Support expansion of outpatient procedural capabilities and ambulatory facilities.
