Job summary

North Carolina Interventional Cardiology opportunity. Client located in the heart of the Piedmont—central to Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Charlotte and RTP.

This role focuses on coronary interventions in a hospital-based setting, offering a mix of inpatient and outpatient care with a daytime schedule and a manageable call pattern. You will perform coronary angiography, PCI, atherectomy, and IVUS/FFR, oversee APPs, and participate in education, innovation, and clinical research.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology.
• Ideal candidate: 2–5 years of experience.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full spectrum of cardiovascular disease with a focus on coronary interventions.
• Care for complex cardiac and vascular patients.
• Exclusively coronary; no PVI or structural heart interventions.
• Oversee attending for APP-led inpatient and outpatient APPs; rounds, care coordination, consultative support.
• Perform coronary angiography, PCI, atherectomy and advanced imaging (IVUS/FFR).
• Manage ACS (STEMI/NSTEMI) and complex coronary disease.
• Typical 2–3 days/week in cath lab; 1–2 days/week in clinic.
