Inova Health System seeks an experienced Interventional Cardiologist to join the ISHV team for full‑time clinical work with outpatient and inpatient rounding at Inova Hospitals in Falls Church, VA. The role involves growing a diagnostic and imaging‑driven practice and requires on‑call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required and board eligibility in Interventional Cardiology.
• ACGME-accredited Interventional Cardiology fellowship required/in process.
• Current Virginia medical license and hospital credentialing required.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time interventional cardiology clinical care with outpatient and inpatient rounding at Inova Hospitals in Falls Church, VA.
• Develop a growing clinical practice driving volume for cardiac diagnostics and imaging.
• Collaborate with cardiology colleagues, cardiac surgeons and other professionals to deliver comprehensive cardiac care.
• Serve on-call as part of the cardiology coverage and participate in clinical trials.

Inova Fairfax Hospital | Inova Schar Heart and Vascular | Interventional Cardiologist | Full-time | Clinic and Inpatient rounding | Sign-on Bonus & Relocation Available

Inova Schar Heart and Vascular is seeking an experienced, board certified/eligible, Interventional Cardiologist to work clinically full-time with our cardiovascular team at its outpatient office with inpatient rounding at our Inova Hospitals in Falls Church, VA. . This physician will further develop a growing clinical practice that drives volume for Inova's cardiac diagnostic and imaging center and will be required to take call.

This position will collaborate closely with other cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive cardiac care.

APP Support. Academic culture with weekly conference, teaching medical students and residents. Participation in clinical trials.

Additional Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of accredited Medical Doctorate Program (MD/DO) , Must have completed or be in the process of completing an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Interventional Cardiology
• Certification: Board-certified or eligible in Interventional Cardiology
• Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia
• Credentialing: Ability to obtain successful medical staff credentials at Inova Fairfax Hospital
• Payer Credentialing: Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor
• Medical Staff Credentialing: Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all
