Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking an inpatient cardiology locum tenens physician for a Fargo, ND assignment. You will cover 9-hour days with night call across an ongoing assignment, seeing about 15 patients per shift and performing inpatient procedures as needed.

The role includes TEE, urgent inpatient caths, temporary pacemakers, STEMI management, stat echos, and EP call coverage, with paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel/housing arranged by Weatherby.

Qualifications

• Cardiology inpatient experience preferred.
• Ability to manage STEMI and urgent inpatient procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient cardiology service with inpatient APC support.
• Perform TEE, urgent inpatient caths, and temporary pacemakers as required.
• Manage STEMI cases, stat echos, and EP call coverage.
• Handle patient load: ~15 patients per shift and 5 phone consults per 24 hours.
