Job summary

Locums is seeking a Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist for independent practice at a smaller facility in the United States. The schedule is 7-on/7-off or 10-on/10-off with 24-hour call. You will cover inpatient and clinic services, STEMI call, PCI, TEEs, echos, stress tests, and cardioversions.

Applicants must hold an active state license, DEA, ACLS, a fluoroscopy permit, and have 2+ years post-fellowship experience. 75 PCIs in the past 12 months are required.

Qualifications

• Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist with active state license, DEA, ACLS, fluoroscopy permit.
• 2+ years post-fellowship experience.
• 75 PCIs in the past 12 months required; device experience preferred but not required.
• Interventional cardiology covering inpatient, clinic, STEMI call, PCI, TEEs, echos, stress tests, and cardioversions.

Responsibilities

• Manage inpatient and clinic interventional cardiology cases.
• Perform PCI, TEEs, echocardiography, stress tests, and cardioversion.
• Participate in STEMI call and 24-hour call during scheduled shifts.
• Independent practice at a smaller facility using Cerner/McKesson EMR.
