Job summary

Champion Heart & Vascular Center, part of Champion Health System in the Raleigh–Durham area, seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join a physician-led, high-volume cardiovascular program.

You will perform di​agnostic and interventional procedures, benefit from a supportive team, and enjoy a path toward partnership with substantial earning potential.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completed Cardiology fellowship and Interventional Cardiology fellowship training.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
• Eligible for unrestricted North Carolina medical licensure.
• A collaborative, patient-first mindset and a drive to deliver exceptional cardiovascular care.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, including diagnostic and interventional coronary angiography and high-risk PCI.
• Perform peripheral arterial disease interventions and endovascular procedures.
• Conduct structural heart and vascular access procedures as clinically indicated.
• Manage acute coronary syndromes, including STEMI and cardiogenic shock.
• Perform right and left heart catheterization and hemodynamic assessment.
• Collaborate with an integrated cardiovascular and vascular surgery team.

Your Day-to-Day

You will perform a broad range of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, including:

• Diagnostic and interventional coronary angiography, including complex and high-risk PCI


• Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) interventions and endovascular procedures


• Structural heart and vascular access procedures as clinically indicated


• Management of acute coronary syndromes, including STEMI and cardiogenic shock


• Right and left heart catheterization and hemodynamic assessment


• Collaborative, multidisciplinary care alongside a full cardiovascular and vascular surgery team

• Base salary of $600,000–$700,000, commensurate with experience
