Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a full-time Interventional Cardiologist to join a growing cardiovascular team serving Leesburg, Summerfield, and The Villages area of Central Florida.

The physician will provide comprehensive interventional and general cardiology care across hospital, outpatient clinic, and outpatient surgery center. The ideal candidate has 2+ years post-fellowship experience or fellowship graduates, with emphasis on high-quality patient care and collaboration.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• ACGME- or AOA-accredited Internal Medicine residencyCompletion.
• Cardiovascular Disease fellowship completion.
• Interventional Cardiology fellowship completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive interventional and general cardiology care across hospital, outpatient clinic, and outpatient surgery center settings.
• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
• Perform interventional cardiology procedures consistent with the physician's training, credentials, privileges, and facility capabilities.
• Provide pre-procedure evaluations, procedural care, and post-procedure management and follow-up.
• Provide inpatient cardiovascular consultations and management.
• Coordinate patient care across inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings to promote continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement and clinical performance initiatives.
