Job summary

Villages Surgery Center in The Villages, FL is seeking a full-time Interventional Cardiologist to join a growing cardiovascular team serving Leesburg, Summerfield, and The Villages area. The physician will provide general and interventional cardiology care across hospital, clinic, and outpatient surgery settings.

The ideal candidate has fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology with board certification and a commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• ACGME- or AOA-accredited Internal Medicine residency completed.
• Accredited Cardiovascular Disease fellowship completed.
• Accredited Interventional Cardiology fellowship completed.
• Board-certified in Adult Cardiovascular Disease; board-certified/board-eligible in Interventional Cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventional and general cardiology care across hospital, outpatient clinic, and outpatient surgery center.
• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
• Perform interventional cardiology procedures within credentialed scope.
• Pre- and post-procedure evaluations and follow-up care.
