Mercy Medical Group in the Sacramento region is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician to join a busy cardiovascular department affiliated with Mercy General Hospital and Mercy San Juan Medical Center. The practice offers a shareholder-track opportunity and a robust support staff to perform PCI, stenting and other non-structural procedures.

Formación

• MD or DO degree.
• Board-Certified in Internal Medicine.
• Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Interventional Cardiology board eligibility or certification.
• Active California medical license or ability to obtain.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Interventional Cardiology Physician with Mercy Medical Group (https://www.commonspirit.org/physician-enterprise/mercy-medical-group) , you will join the world‑class Cardiovascular Services affiliated with Mercy General Hospital and Mercy San Juan Medical Center (https://www.commonspirit.org/find-a-location/dignity-health-mercy-san-juan-medical-center-955) in Carmichael, becoming a pivotal member of one of California's busiest and most respected Cardiology departments. This exceptional shareholder‑track opportunity allows you to contribute to a clinically focused, community‑based medical practice within a multi‑specialty group of over 550 providers, making a significant impact on cardiac health in the Sacramento region.

You will perform a comprehensive range of non‑structural interventional procedures, including coronary angiograms, stenting, peripheral vascular interventions, shock wave, laser, and atherectomies. You will collaborate closely with a robust team of 6 Interventional Cardiologists, 4 General Cardiologists, 2 Outpatient NPs, and other cardiovascular specialists. This role includes a shared call schedule of 1:4 and opportunities to participate in clinical research, all supported by a dynamic staff and excellent colleagues within a strong referral system.

To be successful in this role, you will be a Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist with proven skills in Percutaneous Coronary Intervention and strong interpersonal and communication abilities to thrive in a collaborative team environment. Your expertise should encompass general cardiology and coronary interventions, with a focus on non‑structural procedures.

• Procedures: Coronary Angiograms, stenting, peripheral vascular intervention, shock wave, laser, atherectomies

• Joining 6 Interventional Cardiology Physicians, 5 General Cardiology Physicians, 2 Outpatient NP’s at our East Sacramento office, and a team of Cardiovascular specialties within Mercy Medical Group

• Call: 1:4

We offer the following incentives to eligible new hires:

• Competitive Salary Range of $700,000-745,000 + productivity (with a two-year guarantee to shareholder status) DOE

Job Requirements

• MD or DO degree

• Board‑Certified in Internal Medicine, Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship, Board Eligible or Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology (ABMS or AOA)

• Active California medical license (or ability to obtain)

• DEA certification

• California Fluoro license

• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

$676,000 - $716,000 /year
