Role Description

This FULL time, on-site Interventional Cardiologist role is based in Sun City, AZ. The Interventional Cardiologist will perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including catheter-based interventions, in hospital and cath lab settings. Daily responsibilities include evaluating and managing patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions, interpreting diagnostic studies, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and participating in care planning. The role also involves providing inpatient and outpatient consultations, documenting medical care in compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting quality improvement initiatives. Participation in patient education, continuity of care, and occasional call coverage is expected.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong clinical expertise in Medicine and Cardiology.
• Candidates should possess advanced procedural skills in Cath Lab and Interventional practice.
• Candidates should possess specialized training and experience in Interventional Cardiology.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.
• Completion of accredited Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology/Interventional fellowships.
• Unrestricted Arizona medical license (or eligibility) and current hospital privileges or ability to obtain them.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and ethical clinical practice.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in fast-paced acute care environments.
