Job summary

Northwell Health in New York seeks staff to assist physicians and RNs in Cardiac Catheterization procedures. You will provide patient care to adults and the elderly within the Invasive Cardio Lab, aligning with department goals and hospital policies.

A shadowing opportunity is offered to learn more about the department. Minimum education is 2 years of college or technical training with training in interventional and electrophysiology areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years college or technical training, or equivalent experience.
• Will train in Interventional and Electrophysiology Procedures.
• BLS certification required; NYS Radiologic Technologist License or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assists laboratory physicians and RNs in Cardiac Catheterization procedures.
• Provides care to adult or geriatric patients in the invasive lab.
• Shadow the department to learn more about procedures.
