Job summary

MarinHealth Medical Center seeks a Radiologic Technologist specialized in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory to support diagnostic radiology procedures. You will assist the procedural cardiologist, manage sterile technique, and collaborate with the Interventional Radiology team in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least two years of CCL experience, ARRT/CRT/RHF licensing, and BLS. Ongoing education and adherence to HIPAA are essential for patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Must possess technical ability to perform all diagnostic procedures outlined in Department Procedure Manual.
• Extensive knowledge of radiographic coronary anatomy and physiology.
• Ability to adjust to rapidly changing technology.
• Must possess above-average tact and ability to effectively work with patients, physicians, other hospital personnel and the public.
• Must be willing to participate in ongoing education programs through ARRT or other organizations.
• Works with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assists the procedural cardiologist with radiology procedures and aseptic technique.
• Sets up sterile field and supplies; assists with interventional procedures.
• Communicates effectively with patients under stress and with a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintains competencies and participates in ongoing education for department procedures.
