Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, FL is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab. Shift is 7am-3:30pm with required on-call coverage during weekdays and weekends.

The Imaging Procedural Nurse supports cardiology and related clinicians, participates in thrombolytic therapy preparation when indicated, and maintains NIHSS training annually. UHS affiliation emphasizes teamwork and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an RN program accredited through ACEN, CCNE, or CNEA.
• Current Florida RN license.
• Minimum of two years Level 2 Cardiac Cath experience preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS.
• Willingness to cross train to other areas.
• CCRN preferred.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiology and allied professionals in interventional patient care.
• Maintain stroke alert procedures and NIHSS assessments as required.
• Cross-train and float to other imaging service areas as needed.
• Ensure high standards of patient safety and quality care.
