Job summary

Baptist Health Louisville is hiring Special Procedures Technologists to work in our Cardiac Cath Lab. The Cath Lab supports six rooms and a team of nurses and radiologic technologists.

You will operate radiographic equipment, assist during invasive procedures, record data, and monitor patient responses under a cardiologist's direction. Experience in Cath Lab or related areas is preferred, but new grads can be trained.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology program with a Kentucky license.
• Active KBMIRT and ARRT certification required.
• 1 year of experience in special procedures preferred; training available for new grads.
• BCLS within 90 days and ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Advanced certification RCIS or RTRCI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment in the Cath Lab under a cardiologist.
• Perform scrub assist role during invasive procedures.
• Record information and evaluate patient response to procedures.
