Job summary

Piedmont Macon Medical is seeking a Technologist to assist in the interventional cardiac catheterization laboratory under the Cardiovascular Service Director. The role involves direct patient care, operation of Cath Lab equipment, and teamwork with Cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Candidates should have RCIS or related nursing/tech degrees, with licensure as applicable. Strong infection control and sterile technique knowledge is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of infection control guidelines, universal precautions and sterile procedures.
• Experience or training in invasive cardiac procedures and Cath Lab operations.
• RN/RCIS-based licensure or equivalents required by hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians during invasive cardiac procedures; operates Cath Lab equipment; provides direct and indirect cardiovascular care during procedures.
