Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist for their facility in Hermitage, TN. In this role, you will assist interventional physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures while ensuring a sterile environment.

The ideal candidate will hold a license from an accredited Radiologic Technology School and have at least one year of relevant experience. Responsibilities include documenting exams in Meditech and compliance with regulatory guidelines for radioactive waste disposal.

Qualifications

• Current licensing is required from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• At least one year of experience in Special Procedures, Cath Lab, or EP Lab is necessary.
• BLS certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Scrubbing and assisting during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Maintaining a sterile field and tray setup throughout procedures.
• Documenting exam completion in Meditech and verifying images in PACS.

Skills

IV access initiation and maintenance

Contrast media administration

Working knowledge of drugs

Experience in Special Procedures

Education

Current license from accredited School of Radiologic Technology

ARRT certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist

BLS certification

ACLS certification (within six months of hire)
