Job summary

Catapult Learning, Inc. is seeking a Substitute Math and Reading Intervention Teacher for Brevard County, FL for the 2026-2027 school year.

Per diem positions with sessions during regular school hours; you may teach grades K-12 depending on assignment. Deliver Reading/ELA and Math using company curricula in small groups, develop skill-appropriate lesson plans, supervise students, and maintain attendance and progress records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required
• Valid FL teaching certificate/eligibility
• Classroom teaching, internship, and/or tutoring experience
• Willingness and ability to teach both Math and Reading/ELA to various grade levels
• Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication

Responsibilities

• Instruct Reading/ELA and Math to small groups in a face-to-face school setting with a focus on intervention
• Deliver designated instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills using company materials
• Utilize curriculum to develop and maintain individualized lesson plans
• Ensure supervision of students at all times and escort to/from classes
• Perform data entry for attendance, testing, progress reports, and communications
• Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences
• Maintain student forms and files per regulations
• Communicate with supervisors, teachers, and parents
• Differentiate instruction and track student progress
• Perform other duties as assigned
