Job summary

Catapult Learning is seeking a Substitute Math and Reading Intervention Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year in Brevard County, FL. Sessions run during regular school hours for K-12 students in small groups, using company materials to support intervention and progress tracking.

The role is per diem with pay at $27 per hour. Applicants need a Bachelor's degree and a Florida teaching certificate, and should be prepared to manage records, communicate with families and school staff, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• Valid and current FL Teaching Certificate/Statement of Eligibility.
• Classroom teaching, internship, and/or tutoring experience.
• Willingness and ability to teach both Math and Reading/ELA to various grade levels.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.
• Unwavering belief that all children can learn.
• A passion to help students!

Responsibilities

• Instruct Reading/ELA and Math to small groups of students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting with a focus on intervention.
• Deliver designated instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills to eligible students using company-designed materials.
• Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans using company curriculum.
• Supervise students at all times, including safe escort to classrooms/learning stations.
• Perform data entry for attendance, testing, progress reports, and communications.
• Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences.
• Maintain student forms/files per rules of agencies.
• Maintain communication with supervisors, teachers, principals, and parents.
• Differentiate instruction to meet student needs and foster ownership and critical thinking.
• Other duties as assigned.
