Job summary

New Story Schools in Pennsylvania seeks a Special Education Teacher to design and deliver individualized instruction for students aged 5–21 with autism and related challenges. You will create a structured classroom that supports both learning and social-emotional growth.

You will develop IEPs, use varied teaching methods, manage behavior, track progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, engaging classrooms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and valid Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification
• Minimum three months of experience working with students with disabilities
• Knowledge of child development, differentiated instruction, and behavior management
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to lead and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team

Starting pay rate of $75,000 for PA Instructional I Special Education certification candidates

What You’ll Need
