ACCEL Schools Riverside Academy is seeking an Intervention Specialist to support students with IEPs in Cincinnati, OH. You will collaborate with general education teachers to provide individualized instruction and ensure services and accommodations are delivered effectively.

Qualifications

  • Ability to successfully complete required federal and state criminal background checks (FBI/BCI).

  • Monitor student progress and use data to adjust instruction and interventions.
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth.
  • Build positive, supportive relationships with students and serve as an advocate for their individual needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in a growth-focused environment that includes coaching, feedback, and progress monitoring.
  • Participate in school activities, events, field trips, and other student-focused initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

About the Opportunity

As an Intervention Specialist, you will support the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). You will work closely with general education teachers, school leaders, families, and support staff to provide individualized instruction and ensure students receive the services and accommodations they need to succeed.

About You

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs and are committed to helping every student reach their full potential.

Qualified candidates will possess one of the following:
  • A valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License; or
  • An Ohio Unlimited Substitute License; or
  • A bachelor's degree in Education with eligibility and willingness to pursue appropriate licensure.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this position is $47,500$55,000 annually. Starting salary within the range is based on factors including experience, education, qualifications, skills, and market considerations.
