HEALTHSHARE DEVELOPER

A Houston area non-profit organization is searching for an Integration Developer to join their team. This award-winning community-based organization enables healthcare providers to access and share data through a protected electronic network. This real-time networking system provides quick and reliable access to patient health information at the point of care, thereby increasing patient safety, improving outcomes and lowering the overall cost of care.

The candidate will be a member of a small agile development team that values quality and collaboration. This position will require the candidate to participate in group design meetings, author effective and concise code, and write and conduct meaningful unit tests. As a member of the team, the candidate will interact with all stakeholders of the business, including customers, management, vendors, and non-technical staff.

The HealthShare Developer will be responsible for the design, development, testing and support of clinical interfaces.

This position requires 2+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing interfaces in InterSystems HealthShare/IRIS (Health Information Exchange, Health Connect). The successful candidate will be fluent in HL7 v2.x Messaging and at least 3 of the following:

1. IHE Profile Integrations (XDS.b, XCPD, XCA)
2. CCD and C-CDA documents
3. HL7 V3/RIM Integrations
4. Terminology Translation (SNOMED, LOINC, RxNorm)
5. WS-Security, SOAP and PKI
6. XPath
7. jQuery/JavaScript
8. IRIS / Cache Development

Remote and Telecommute candidates will be considered. Houston, TX candidates preferred.
