Requirements

• Home Daily; Day Shift; Monday through Friday workweek.
• Class A CDL or commercial driver’s license.
• No hazmat required.
• Good driving and safety record.
• Hauling scrap metal – roll‑off/end dump experience helpful.
• Interstate driving – Texas/Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

• Refuel and clean the vehicle.
• Report road incidents to the dispatcher.
• Follow traffic laws.
• Inspect trucks and record issues.
• Follow accident procedures.
• Keep an activities log and log hours.
• Report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel.
• Plan routes using a GPS system.
• Maintain a positive attitude with customers.
• Keep commercial driver’s license up to date.

Additional Information

• Monday through Friday.
• 50 cents per mileage/hourly rate to cover non‑driving; paid weekly; generally average weekly gross $1,100 to $1,600 per week.
