Advanced Sleep Medicine Services is seeking a California-licensed, board-certified sleep medicine physician to remotely review home sleep tests on a flexible 1099 contract basis through our cloud platform.

Initial volume is 100–200 studies per month, with potential growth and occasional spikes. The role includes duties as Associate Medical Director and requires maintaining CA medical licensure and professional liability insurance.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Sleep Medicine.
• Active, unencumbered California Medical License.
• Credentialing with major payers preferred; apply as required.
• Experience reviewing home sleep studies remotely (e.g., ApneaLink Air, NightOwl).
• Maintain Professional Liability insurance ($1M/$3M) with CA coverage.

Responsabilités

• Review Home Sleep Tests remotely within 1–2 business days.
• Interpret reports with attention to detail and quality-first approach.
• Provide coverage for additional reading volume during peak periods or peer leave.
• Serve as Associate Medical Director as needed.
• Complete credentialing applications for payers or transfer existing credentials.
• Ensure private, HIPAA-compliant workspace with secure computer and high-speed internet.

• Experience reviewing home sleep studies remotely, including ApneaLink Air and NightOwl devices.
• Must maintain your own Professional Liability insurance ($1M/$3M) with California coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret diagnostic Home Sleep Tests remotely within standard turnaround times of 1 to 2 business days.
• Interpret reports with a quality-first approach including close attention to detail.
• Provide coverage for additional reading volume during peer leave or high-demand periods.
• Serve in a light professional capacity as Associate Medical Director.
• Complete credentialing applications for payers as required (or transfer existing credentials).
• Must have access to a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace with high-speed internet and a secure computer.

Compensation

• Structure: Fixed monthly base retainer plus a per-interpretation fee.
• Estimated Range: $1,000 to $2,250+ monthly, scaling directly with interpretation volume and coverage needs.
