Job summary

Vitruvian Health in the region is seeking a skilled medical interpreter to support Spanish-speaking patients and guests. You will translate and interpret between patients, families and healthcare staff to ensure clear communication and compassionate care.

Responsibilities include providing accurate interpretations, facilitating patient needs, and maintaining confidentiality. The ideal candidate has bilingual English/Spanish fluency, relevant training, and hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• Certification of completion of an accredited medical interpretation training course (e.g., Bridging the Gap) within 6 months of hire.
• Hospital experience preferred; knowledge of medical terminology ideal.
• Fluency in English and Spanish required.

Job Summary
