Job summary

Linguava in Portland, Oregon is seeking an Interpreter Engagement Specialist to build and activate our interpreter network and strengthen connections with healthcare partners and patients who rely on language access. You’ll lead outreach, recruitment, events, and program development, traveling as needed and representing Linguava with a mission-driven, patient-centered approach to interpreter engagement.

You’ll collaborate across Recruiting, Compliance, Credentialing, and Operations to ensure

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in customer success, vendor relations, interpreter relations, community engagement, credentialing, or a related field.
• Experience building relationships and conducting proactive outreach.
• Experience in language services, healthcare, interpretation, or related field.
• Experience working as an interpreter or directly with interpreters.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to travel throughout the Portland metro area and occasionally elsewhere as needed.
