Job summary

PeopleTec, Inc. is seeking an Interoperability Systems Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location. You will join the PMO within PAE Fires and lead open systems integration across the full lifecycle of sensors, effectors and C2/Fire Control support systems in the IBCS architecture.

The role requires 5+ years in interoperability, DoD Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with diverse teams and external agencies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of interoperability experience in defense or aerospace.
• Experience with open systems architectures and APIs/SDKs.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in a U.S. Government Program Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in interoperability across the system lifecycle.
• Define and govern open system architecture for sensor and C2 integration.
• Coordinate with HQDA, ASA(ALT), JIATF 401, AMCOM and others.
• Prepare interoperability findings, reports, and improvement plans.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to achieve program goals.
• Review Open API and SDK implementation documentation.
• Ensure compliance with defense and industry standards.
