Job summary

Adaugeo Healthcare Solutions is seeking an Interface Development Manager to lead our small interface development team focused on HL7 messaging, HL7 v2.x and FHIR/SMART on FHIR integrations across AHS, Praxis Health, and Interpath Laboratory.

This hands-on leadership role combines technical ownership with people management, driving modernization of tools, AI-assisted development practices, and strict adherence to HIPAA standards in a regulated healthcare environment.

Qualifications

5+ years of .NET/C# development experience.
2+ years in a team lead/people-management role with direct reports.
Hands-on experience with HL7 v2.x messaging and clinical data exchange.
Hands-on experience with FHIR and SMART on FHIR (OAuth2/UDAP, CDS Hooks).
Experience delivering software in regulated healthcare environments.
Comfort with AI-assisted development tools in daily work.

Responsibilities

Directly manage a small interface development team, including hiring, performance reviews, career development, and day-to-day technical direction.
Own the design, build, and support of HL7 v2.x and FHIR-based integrations, connecting systems with EMRs, clearinghouses, and labs.
Lead modernization of interface tooling and processes to reduce integration turnaround time for new clients and partners.
Champion AI-assisted development practices within the team, with rigorous human review for PHI.
Partner with Software Development Manager, clinical operations, and business stakeholders to prioritize interface work.
Establish and maintain data-quality, security, and compliance standards per HIPAA.
