ASML US, including its affiliates and subsidiaries, is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test Intern in San Diego. You will collaborate with engineers to design, develop, and improve test automation solutions for complex software systems in an Agile setting.

You will gain hands-on experience with modern software development practices, CI, quality engineering, and scalable test automation, while contributing to test frameworks and verification activities on-site in San Diego.

Formación

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of two years completed toward a bachelor's degree.
• Students pursuing a master's degree or PhD in a relevant field are encouraged to apply.
• Experience through coursework, projects, research, or internships involving software development.
• Experience programming in C++, Python, or similar programming languages.
• Familiarity with software development and testing in Linux, VxWorks, or other operating system environments.
• Exposure to distributed systems, automation frameworks, or software verification is preferred.

The Software Development Engineer in Test Intern role is part of the Software Foundation organization in San Diego, where teams develop automated test frameworks and infrastructure that help maintain the quality of software releases. In this role, you will work alongside experienced software engineers to design, develop, and improve test automation solutions that support highly complex software systems. The Software Development Engineer in Test Intern will gain hands‑on experience with modern software development practices, continuous integration, quality engineering, and scalable test automation in an Agile environment. This internship provides an opportunity to make meaningful contributions while learning how software quality is built into advanced technology products.

Your assignment

As a Software Development Engineer in Test Intern, you will help develop and maintain automated testing solutions that support software quality throughout the development lifecycle. You will collaborate with software engineers and quality teams to create scalable testing tools and improve engineering processes.
