Your day as an InterN

As a paid intern at Alleghany Highlands Community Services, you will have the opportunity to deepen your understanding of mental health, substance use disorders, co‑occurring disorders, and developmental disabilities. You will engage with seasoned professionals to learn how to identify symptoms, explore various treatment modalities, and develop essential assessment and diagnostic skills. This hands‑on experience will enable you to create person‑centered service plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual.
